बड़े दिन हो गए........

वो माचिस की सीली डब्बी, वो साँसों में आग
बरसात में सिगरेट सुलगाये बड़े दिन हो गए

वो दांतों का पीसना, वो माथे पर बल
किसी को झूठा गुस्सा दिखाए बड़े दिन हो गए

एक्शन का जूता और ऊपर फॉर्मल सूट
बेगानी शादी में दावत उड़ाए बड़े दिन हो गए

ये बारिशें आजकल रेनकोट में सूख जाती हैं
सड़कों पर छपाके उड़ाए बड़े दिन हो गए

अब सारे काम सोच समझ कर करता हूँ ज़िन्दगी में
वो पहली गेंद पर बढ़कर छक्का लगाये बड़े दिन हो गए

वो ढ़ाई नंबर का क्वेश्चन, पुतलियों में समझाना
किसी हसीन चेहरे को नक़ल कराये बड़े दिन हो गए

जो कहना है फेसबुक पर डाल देता हूँ
किसी को चुपके से चिट्ठी पकड़ाए बड़े दिन हो गए

बड़ा होने का शौख भी बड़ा था बचपन में
काला चूरन मुंह में तम्बाकू सा दबाये बड़े दिन हो गए

मेरे आसमान अब किसी विधवा की साड़ी से लगते हैं
बादलों में पतंग की झालर लगाए बहुत दिन हो गए

सुबह के सारे काम अब रात में ही कर लेता हूँ
सफ़ेद जूतों पर चाक लगाए बड़े दिन हो गए

भरी क्लास में वो बेहया मोहब्बत के इशारे
उंगलियों को होठों पर फिराए बड़े दिन हो गए

लोग कहते हैं अगला बड़ा सलीकेदार है
दोस्त के झगडे को अपनी लड़ाई बनाये बड़े दिन हो गए

साइकिल की सवारी और ऑडी सा टशन डंडा पकड़ कर कैंची चलाये बड़े दिन हो गए

ढ़ाई अक्षर पकाने में वो ढाल साल की तैयारी
वो ‘पहले इश्क्’ की बिरयानी खाए बड़े दिन हो गए

किसी इतवार खाली हो तो आ जाना पुराने अड्डे पर
दोस्तों को दिल के शिकवे सुनाये बड़े दिन हो गए.........

Quality of a LION.....

*Uhmm. Among all these wonderful qualities mentioned...... Where is the Lion in the picture.
*Yet you say the Lion is the king of the jungle even without any of these qualities.

खवाहिश नही मुझे
मशहुर होने की।
आप मुझे पहचानते हो
बस इतना ही काफी है।
अच्छे ने अच्छा और
बुरे ने बुरा जाना मुझे।
क्यों की जीसकी जीतनी
जरुरत थी उसने उतना ही
पहचाना मुझे।
ज़िन्दगी का फ़लसफ़ा
भी कितना अजीब है,
शामें कटती नहीं, और साल
गुज़रते चले जा रहे हैं....!
एक अजीब सी
दौड़ है ये ज़िन्दगी,
जीत जाओ तो कई
अपने पीछे छूट जाते हैं,
और हार जाओ तो अपने
ही पीछे छोड़ जाते हैं।.....
